For this Winter edition, I am putting the spotlight on a local womenswear business, which has been established for over 14 years since launching in 2006. Situated in the heart of historic Stamford, this veritable treasure trove of wonder stocks a varied mix of brands from Esprit, Great Plains to Indi & Cold and Nice Things, and caters for women of all age groups and tastes. You’ll find wardrobe staples, alongside that wow factor dress, with beautiful jewellery and accessories to complement. There’s a sportswear range, and a fab selection of casual trainers from brands including Hoff (if you haven’t heard of these you need to take a look!).

Co-owned by Marion Lindley and Kathryn White, this fabulous boutique has a loyal customer base, who return every season to add to their wardrobe confident that there will always be that perfect addition, but equally, there is always something beautiful, current and tempting in the window to entice passers by, as they wander along St Mary’s Street.
The recent challenges of the pandemic have meant that the shop has closed, re-opened and now closed again, but this has not deterred Marion and Kathryn from continuing to provide their customers with new, exciting and modern styles, and the website has been constantly refreshed and updated to ensure buyers are able to find what they need.
I spent some time editing the collections in store and have put together some outfits I think we can all relate to - winter is not going to be full of the usual events and outings we might usually look forward to this year, so the key to dressing remains all about relaxed looks with a bit of luxe and glamour thrown in to cheer us up!
